M-171 Aesthetic Refresher Course

This offering has been approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing through the OBN approver unit at the Health Alliance. (OBN-007-92).

This 4 hour course has been developed for the clinician responsible for the aesthetic practices and/or the Laser Safety Officer (LSO) duties in an aesthetic environment. This refresher course provides a technical update in the areas of aesthetic safety standards, clinical applications, and new technology. The curriculum has been developed in accordance with the ANSI Z136.3-2011 standard, for Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care. This course has been approved to meet the requirements as dictated in Texas House bill 449 and 25 Texas Administrative Code 289.302 and 301.

Note: Students must bring a current copy of the ANSI Z136.3 Standard. If you need to purchase a current copy, they will be available at the course for $163.00, or they may be purchased online ahead of time.

 

This school has a Certificate of Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The TWC assigned school number is S4041. Rockwell Laser Industries (RLI) programs are approved by the TWC and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
